  • Those wishing to visit the picturesque and impressive Wolf Castle of Valvasone must book in advance by contacting the Pro Loco Valvasone. It is one of the most beautiful castles in Friuli. Particular the little charade. But a Council at the Pro Loco: begin to manage profiles of municipal structures placed on TA and respond to reviews.

  • We had a chance to visit again this beautiful castle during the event "middle ages in Valvasone." National Monument, the old manor surprises for the visitor with the frescoes of profanity, situated in a room on the ground floor: rare and enigmatic, especially in the relationship between the donkey on the throne that teaches the ABCs and recalcitrant Wolf to teaching. In the neighbouring room you can admire a rare 18th-century private theatre. Very nice is also the old kitchen with large fireplace. Intimate private chapel. The castle is only open on special occasions, we recommend that you do not miss to plunge into history-rich environments, which over the centuries have seen leaders and intellectuals, poets and politicians, as well as famous characters like the Popes Gregory XII and Pius VI and the General Napoleon Bonaparte.

  • Despite a few salt visitable, thanks to Laura's help, sympathy and preparation the Castle offers an interesting cycle of frescoes and a room in which there is a wonderful wooden theatre of the 18th century. Also worth seeing are the medieval town surrounding the castle with arcades and alleys. Don't miss a visit to the duomo. Inside a wonderful 16th century organ.
