  • Coming from Rovereto, the shrine is Pian delle Fugazze, at the end of a small road that branches off to the right of the highway. The ossuary tower rises majestically on a hill overlooking the plain. Behind him, in the clouds you can see the Rifugio Papa. Exciting the niches where the fallen known and the unknown. The various flights of stairs you reach the top of the Tower, in an atmosphere of religious silence. At the side of the ossuary, the bar gestoti you will be able to access the museum dedicated to the great war on the Pasubio, which besides interesting finds exposes a useful model. Recommended tour not only passionate about history.

  • I visited the ossuary to complete the history of the Pasubio that rises majestically to protect the bodies of those guys who gave their lives for their country. A hundred meters there is the bar, next to a Museum really did well, with priceless artifacts. Instead of sending the kids to play games, take them to visit these places worth forming consciences.

  • Holy memorial to WWI fallen. Epic view on Veneto region and Po Valley. Useful starting location for climbing, trekking and all mountain sports.
  • Filled with the bones (which you can see & touch) of 5000 mostly kids who died, were killed 100 years ago on the mountain above, extremely well maintained. It was built less than 10 years after the end of the war. It helps put our whiny little problems in perspective.
  • Easy to reach, even in the car with white parking. Holy place with a breathtaking view. Can leave for 20 min at normal walking bridge just Ian. With regard to the ossuary "is an imposing building designed by Ferruccio Castro and decorated by Tito Chini and Umberto Bellotto by shape resembling a 35 metre high lighthouse with a bright lantern on its Summit. Consists of two parts: the ossuary and the shrine. The ossuary, located in the basement of the Tower has a central vault and two concentric galleries. The crypt contains the remains of 70 decorated for bravery and there was buried the corpse of General Guglielmo Pecori Giraldi, who held command of the United States army from may 1916 until the November 9 1918 victorious. "

  • The building has in the outside form a vertical and recalls a lighthouse that illuminates plain below you soldiers defense rests. In opposite to the exterior, the Interior, completely frescoed verticality and divided between the real and a chapel, has a more intimate structure that enhances the grimness of this current location of what remains of many victims. Nice the view you can enjoy from the outside.

  • Evocative place with breathtaking views. The ossuary is dedicated to the fallen of the first world war. There are bones of 5146 Italian soldiers and 40 Austrians.
