  • On the advice of Maurice, the owner of the farm On almond Grove, we went to visit the mineral Park. It's an old sulphur mine active I think until the 80 and then decommissioned, now State property of the region of Sicily. The property extends over a large area and you can visit by car. You can start by visiting the Palazzo Pennisi, residence of the family that owns the mine and then drive to see the well and the galleries through which the sulfur was transported. For those who come around here the tour is absolutely recommended!

  • I note that the 1 St may will take place the annual event full of fun and culture, where various associations unite their strength and deploy miles of people participating every year ... Not to be missed! In three minutes you can get to Valguarnera Caropepe ... where you can admire the Museo etnoantropologico e Caripa House Museum ... a House intact the end of 800.

  • Amazingly beautiful place full of history but which arouses strong emotions in the memory of those "cant" who worked in inhumane conditions.
