  • This stage Council building which gives a good idea of the life of the alpini during World War I. The Fort is preserved in good condition but some do more. The Interior is not that bad. If the weather is nice you can make a little walk around the Fort, the perimeter where they were to guard the Sentinels.

  • The Pro Loco runs it dating back to the years of the Great War, surrounded by woodland and a short walk from the nearby car park. A great commitment and for this they deserve a round of applause. A place of silence, long corridors that were inspired by the soldiers who lived a life on the edge of survival. A modern desert of the Tartars, now an oasis of peace that invites us to reflect on the inequities and terror of every war. Visit free paid (4 euros full fare) also suitable for children's curiosity. Of particular interest is the underground, humid, which leads to the powder room and a boiler. From the roof, where you can admire the domes battleships that once contained guns, magnificent panoramic view. Minimum time of visit at least two hours.

  • A few dishes, but the choice of dishes of Valtellina is assured! Pizzoccheri ok, meat, polenta, mushrooms and really good stew. Home-made cakes, strudel, perfect but truly "excellent" tiramisu made by girls in the restaurant. Congratulations to all the staff!

  • Very nice military fort, well groomed and well maintained. €4 entrance fee well spent. Each room has placards describing the use during the war, but if you want you can pay a guide. Very well kept and green surroundings. In addition you can enjoy a wonderful panoramic view from the roof of the Fort for Bormio and mountains surrounding the area. A must visit for an afternoon of history and nature.

  • Strong built for World War I laid on Oga to dimension with three domes containing 1600 mtv one Cannon each. From here they were shooting on the Stelvio Austrian fortifications. After being restored now can be visited. Recommend the visit because it is very interesting and also denotes the technology of the time. A twin duo still efficiently is located in Colico but you can't visit because it is a military zone.
