  • The Museum is dedicated to the Blessed Patriarch Bertram of St. Genesius and located in the adjoining Baptistry and in the chapels of San Nicolò and of Christ's body, placed on the left in the back of the Church. It is a journey through the sculptures and paintings showcasing the history of the Cathedral. You can admire paintings and frescoes of 1300 and 1400. To see the frescoes by Vitale da Bologna with the story of Saint Nicholas. There are also precious metalwork and a part of the treasure of the Cathedral. Bella the Ark in marble dating from the mid-14th century. In its shop Windows are exposed vestments, of the fourteenth century, belonging to the Patriarch's funeral and made with fabrics produced by Italian and Oriental manufacturers. The upper rooms of the Museum are dedicated to the art of sacred gold and textile art.

  • No surprise this little Museum. Free admission, you can admire many masterpieces. The Ark of the Patriarch of Aquileia, his vestments. the beautiful fragments of frescoes. Free entrance. Recommended to all, especially to those who love the history of Friuli. Attention only to reduced hours and 10 12 16 18
