  • The Val d' Orcia holds many wonderful treasures! The rolling hills of Tuscany, the colours and the Italian villages are worth at any time a trip. In the spring, the countryside is very green and colored, boasts of many different shades of Brown in the summer the beauty of the landscape. • The Val d'Orcia is a place suspended in time, arrive here and you seem to have been catapulted into another dimension of peace, silence, colors ... I recommend to visit in July, in the bloom of sunflowers that are lost as the eye between the gentle slopes. Spectacular ploughed fields with the famous "haystacks" placed here and there with extreme care and wonderful cypresses that draw the outlines of the paths leading to the houses. I here I have seen bee-eaters, porcupines, ROEs, pheasants, foxes ... I go back every year just to experience the atmosphere of peace that only this place is able to donate, but also to eat the famous pici cacio e pepe and visiting its fascinating villages (Buonconvento, Montalcino, Bagno Vignoni ... just to name a few)
