  • Val d'Orcia area is the best you can find in the Tuscan countryside. Virtually all images and photos rolling Tuscan hills, Cypress Avenue, misty morning or a movie scene from farms (eg. Gladiator) were shot here. Whether you go here on a day trip or stay on a farm, you will this landscape fascination. Of the cities in this area I recommend for example. Pienzu and Montalcino.

  • For a romantic weekend the orcia Valley is the best place to visit. The landscapes are really impressive, we were lucky enough to enjoy them both with a bright sun that at sunset. We started from montepulciano, along the sp88 until Monticchiello, from there we went up to San Quirico d'Orcia. This route has enabled us to fully enjoy the scenery "Mulino bianco", and the crete senesi, crossing little Bamba. If you want a view from the top extends over the whole val d'Orcia doing a walk you reach Pienza, where there is a walkway with an ice cream and your loved one.
