  • I was on a hot day and it was great. A paradise where you can spend a nice experience. A walk is not easy in the midst of nature and water. The arrival to the reward pool walking. Would never get from Montefegatesi because you have to take a dirt road.

  • Just yesterday, 16/8 my husband and I stayed at this wonderful cynon called orrido di Botri. . In the many reviews I've read there is much talk of breathtaking beauty of this place ... its magic ... the peace that reigns there. Etc ... and I can only confirm with great enthusiasm all!!. an indescribable feeling! must try at least once in your life ... from inexperienced can give you recommend some advice: walking shoes that will help a lot. always keep your footing and don't lower your guard ever ... and you'll come down the path without problems. .. but most importantly (it tells a pretty clumsy and timid) ... join a guided hike! ... The group is something that has given me many stimuli x go forward, pace and decision!!! 1000 thanks once again to Michele, knowledgeable guide, serious person who gave me so much confidence and practical advice x have less trouble and continue serenely. .. ILO I swear, if I could, I would raise the heels and go back up there!!

  • I hope to give you some useful information to visit this wonder Tuscany. RECOMMENDED EQUIPMENT: backpack with some snacks, a bottle of water, bag for mobile phone (my friend fell into the water without plastic, they don't tell you that joy), sweatshirt not overly large but this depends on the season. A pair of hiking shoes or sneakers, I I bought them from 2 days before the Decathlon are suitable as slick + Terry socks. AVOID sandals, rock shoes, walking shoes with leather straps (I looked at these). Shorts, short sleeve Jersey and if you cold use the Hoodie that I mentioned above. If you have a helmet bring it, otherwise it is included in the admission price of only €2, together they give you also kind of a headset to keep the hair. Visit fits a bit at all even though I believe that children should be at least 8/10 years to be autonomous and have fun really. We booked the tour through Wild Trails, an association founded by young boys (guides) mountain and beyond. Meeting: 8:30 Penny Borgo a Mozzano and after about 35 minutes drive we arrived to the nature reserve. IF YOU SUFFER FROM motion sickness sit in front, the other friend was in danger of being sick by turns that are there to get to the field. The reserve is managed by the police, although often arrive first and opens at 10 so you can start early in the walk (9:30). Our guide Stephen gave our names, so at the end of the day that no one remained in the canyon. The route is divided into 4 stages that include steps in the water even to the groin. Given the scarcity of rainfall not only in summer but also in winter, we did not find the big river but Stefano told us that sometimes in some places is not at all easy going up or down to the amount and strength of the water. From the bridge in the middle ages already last bridge before Gaius, mountain, down in the river and you start walking. Great care to put your feet, do not place your hands on your fingers but on the palms to avoid easy breakage in case of slips. The walk is not too hard, just take your time and follow the Guide and steps safer. The first impact with the water freezing can be nice tough since the shoes remain wet for over three hours, but well worth it. The scenarios are beautiful, the feeling of peace. Eventually someone bathing in what is called pool, noici we settle for a photo:) Advice for food: If you bring a sack lunch book a table at the Eagle's nest, the risto-bar at the entrance to the reserve. We will guarantee a table and two chairs but not the menu, even if you have booked their give away what they have is you eat (like us that sima now go back to the 14:30) only what's left in the kitchen. The first visit with guide, next time will try for themselves!:)
