  • Great day on the slopes, we arrived at the top of the peak where is the cross. Great restaurants where you can eat, take a break and get warm. We return. Recommended although I would update the services of ski lifts.

  • It is inconceivable that in 2018 there is a ski resort with this type of plant. Lift for access to the track is slow, Crossroads Sunday, has created 25 minutes straight to him. Same thing in the other plants, too much time in a row to access old, dilapidated but especially lenses, then skiing in shameful tracks. Snow drifts everywhere, Cannon left amid the slopes are preceded by a sign that says "slow down", I mean I had a lot of negative feedback but I wanted to experience first hand. Never again!! Is suitable for beginners but for those who would like to have fun I suggest to leave it alone. This year they are fortunate to have a lot of snow and the slopes are treated in this way. And this already at 9:15 am not at the end of the evening. All with ski pass at €25.

  • last week we climbed Mount amiata on reaching the Summit, the Madonna of the Scouts, using snowshoes. consider that the mountain is best known for the skiing than for a walk (or snowshoe) until the Summit. at this time there is a lot of snow (then depends on years!) so we used snowshoes up to the Summit. sure that you have to walk off the track and into two points you have to cross the track. normally we recommend the tour of monte amiata, 7 km of track, but honestly if you are there for a few days and want to visit the val d'Orcia in the afternoon (for example) can do as we do and pull straight to the top (you can download several reports from the web indicating the access road). the difference is not very steep, and the climb isn't even in all we bring you 3:00 between rising and falling; only to the top there are several rocks to be careful in the presence of snow (for any holes!), but we found it all quite track. the view from the top is well worth it.

  • Nice hike trough the rocky forrests of Monte Amiata! Great view on the top.
  • Easy to get there.Beautifull landscapes.
  • One of a kind !
  • bravo
  • Cute mountain with a beautiful landscape. Is an excellent destination both in summer and in winter, although on weekends during ski season is very busy. The ski slopes are very short and are not at all challenging, ideal for beginners but are not too satisfying for an expert.
