  • Sweaty day ... ... idea of a walk .... get to Campocecina was one. Beautiful place 20° C temperature against 29 in the city. Stunning views of the Carrara quarries. From just above the fields of campocecina ... you can see the Gulf of Spezia Palmaria and Tino. If the haze permits you have seen much more extended. Carrara refuge ... an afternoon snack with homemade cheese cake with berries. Perfect afternoon.

  • Campocecina offers exceptional views of the Sea just minutes from marble quarries. The resort is easily accessible by car (nice for those ' road bike or climb enthusiast Mountaineers Bike) and always place for a little outing ... got an immediate view of the Cave from above offers a unique spectacle in the world ... from the square you can also continue for a few kilometers (only Saturday or Sunday in this case. to avoid any work equipment in motion) and "steal" some glimpse into more of this fantastic world in black. Got you then I would cover numerous walking paths (towards monte Sagro) for example ...) or make a path in Mountai Bike, or on foot, from the square at the top (the one with the marble statues to understand) you could bring down a Castelpoggio. ... There is then the rifugio Belvedere is a small restaurant where you can eat ... Alternatively always it is the perfect place for a picnic. In Campocecina need to go at least once because it offers lil second aspect of these places of sea: the mountains of the Apuan Alps. understand the cave and it is entering the heart of the people who inhabit these places ...

  • On and go in Porsche, scanzando some holes that are on the road and especially making sure those truck on a narrow road bison like that to arrive at Campo Cecina carrying huge blocks of marble. For them the Horn is an optional extra, don't use it right!!
