  • Nice collection of many objects and several bilingual subtitles (Italian and English). Definitely worth a visit. The Necropolis should not miss!  more »
  • We visited Tuscania, and we did not miss a visit to the Museum. Set in a former convent, free and very friendly staff. Are grouped by finds of tombs dating back to the Hellenistic period.

  • If you find yourself in the town of Tuscania be sure to visit the National Archaeological Museum located in via Mario Moretti 1. It is near the Church of s. Maria del Riposo rebuilt in Renaissance style. You'll find it inside the former Franciscan convent. It is a visit which I would recommend for several reasons, Chief among them that is completely free and believe me it is not a small thing. Another reason that impels me to advise you on this visit is the beautiful cloister frescoed lunettes which run at the top by all sides. The vision of this Museum, which in my opinion is more complex and rich in Etruscan than Grotte di Castro is considered a must see in this beautiful town of Tuscia. In this haven of art and culture there is the valuable presence of lovely lady Sandra in charge of. It will be learned in this path which I am sure will brighten your spirits and your level of knowledge.
