  • Enter only if you have never seen, it is passing, etc otherwise not convenient to no student/person eager to silence over time inside. There are many hurdles to pass before being able to sit: lockers downstairs where you have to put everything including water to drink; at this point it is necessary to pull out a health card and present it to the electronic control which does not appear punctually; stairs and ladders to climb. And finally ... hum.

  • I come to study here, just to get away from distractions, but sometimes it's worse than being in the middle of a crowded street. The staff is rude and not at all accommodating (signed with crutches not authorised to use a canvas bag for carrying two books but disabled lift not working for months, if not years. Let's say that exerts its function only if one is able to focus regardless of the context.

  • the old national library and powder piazzetta carlo alberto in Turin is really really charming! they only opened last September (2015) and is the first entrance on the right of the building (facing with their backs to the carignano Palace), is even above the door and I had never seen ... I discovered it during the 48 hours of Mozart with a piano concerto by chopin (sic!) taught by young Polish pianists who sounded very excited and without sheet music before! the Hall is strange and beautiful with a spiral entrance, attached a micro music Museum, bath, wardrobe, with armchairs, excellent acoustics ipercomode (I think ...), cool and airy, volunteer staff. extremely enjoyable experience and I recommend it. a real surprise!

  • Situated on a tiny but beautiful square, in Piazza Carlo Alberto.
  • Historical monument in a beautiful square, behind the first Italian Parliament and near the Egyptian Museum.

  • The heritage of the ancient library includes incunabula, editions, drawings and engravings. Is also used for exhibitions.

  • Staff lazy and obnoxious. Hard internet connection. Few desks with power sockets. Place still extremely quiet and ideal for intensive study.
