  • Go here by nightfall, if it is not cloudy you will have an amazing view. Look at the city and look at the beautiful Alps.  more »
  • The Church of Santa Maria del Monte (or simply the Monte dei Cappuccini for Turin) stands on the green of the first buttress Hill of Turin and is highly visible from piazza Vittorio and the banks of the river Po. Looks like an elegant building in the clean lines of the design of its designer a. Van Wyk, (after his death was in some parts completed and revisited by Castellamonte). It is a place full of history and legends that you can easily learn by checking the site of the building. Has always been very dear to the people of Turin, the mountain can be reached by a leisurely walk uphill and offers a striking view of the city and the Alpine circle from the square in front of the Church, while the Interior is an atmosphere of quiet contemplation. They are custodians of the Capuchin monks always lavish their charity towards the needy.

  • Beautiful landscaping, a fifteen minute walk from the great mother. Council to see it in different weather conditions, in different seasons and at different times of the day (from early morning to late night). As you may have guessed I was there over and over again, admiring a Turin always a little different. Nice to see the city from the panoramic binoculars; the Church and the cloister.

  • One of my favorite churches in Turin! You have a beautiful view on the city and the friars living there are always nice and helpful.
  • Wonderful view of Torino's skyline. A ten minute walk (mini-hike) to the top. A simple and austere church. Nice view of the Po river too. At night, the church is adorned with blue light and looks beautiful from below
  • Here you have one of the best views of Torino. This place is reachable by car or on foot. There's also the mountain museum.
  • Easy walk that provides an amazing view of the city. There is some remnants from the 2006 olympics but otherwise there is an unobstructed view of the city. There is a nice restaurant up here with a great view too.
  • A short walk up the hill to this church gives an amazing view of the beautiful city of Torino, both during the night and day
