Quadrilatero Romano, Turin

(4.3/5 based on 380+ reviews on the web)
Quadrilatero Romano, or the Roman Quarter of Turin, contains many popular restaurants, wine bars, and hotels. A Roman fort enclosed this area long ago. The grid arrangement of the narrow streets makes this area recognizably Roman in the present day. You’ll find ruins of Roman walls, as well as two preserved polygonal towers with 16 sides each. Take the time to stroll here and have a meal, a glass of wine, or Italian ice cream. For Quadrilatero Romano and beyond, use our Turin trip builder to get the most from your Turin vacation.

  • The Quadrilatero Romano (Quadrilàter Roman in piemontese), or simply quadrangle, is a historic district, known to be one of the meeting points of typical restaurants and pubs-clubs. It really is a testament to how the ancient Romans (you own them) founded Torino

  • Every time I go back, seeing all these cafes brings me the thought in Paris, restaurants, pubs, places that summarize all types of cuisines. Popular especially by young people but known with great pleasure that we kinda late in life just love this beautiful corner of our Turin.

  • Walk through this area in the city today is a mix of current/past, very interesting. You can see a lot of ruins uncovered.
