  • I was on the occasion of the exhibition "Titanic-The artifact exhibition." The exhibition was curated to perfection and the facility was well managed, just a little queue at the entrance to the presence of a single crate

  • I visited this show with a friend, both being very passionate transatlantic history. The host property is located right above the Parco del Valentino and the medieval village. We talk about the exhibition: the cost was reduced to 13 16 euro for certain categories; We did not take the audioguide as we were quite narrow. The route ran on two floors and the reconstructions of some rooms were really valuable and thoughtful; the exhibits enormously interesting though perhaps not among the most precious among all recovered, but on the other hand those were probably too valuable and fragile to be moved. Nice idea of the iceberg of real ice, than the usual extras in museums, and absolutely loved the passage reproduced as it was on the ship; I think some installations are removed prior to our visit, which took place two days before it closed the show. I read more than a criticism and I would not share them if those in the costs relative to the brevity of exposure, which is true. But what about the protests on low lighting and the lack of elements reminiscent of the film Cameron, just don't get it. The chemistry course of restoration made me understand that items so old and frail in need of low light, very detrimental to any Museum item and especially for these. And about the movie, I'm more than happy that they have polluted the Royal affair and his remains with installations from the film, because it would be ridiculous and really debasing of the true story. I love that movie but I never wanted to see him here, and in fact have been affected positively. Why: all positive except the costs and part of the photo ban, absolutely right for the flash but maybe a bit over the top for a few photos with your phone. In any case, I absolutely loved it, and what was it gave me the creeps: don't always need huge pieces in order to excite a visitor, but you have to understand also the Cup or a fork to go really deep in its history.

  • Many panels to read, but few exhibits ... it says that more than 5,000 have been recovered, but there there have been just a hundred. All the info on the panels can easily be retrieved on the internet--for free. Having so much publicity and the ticket price you would expect much much more. Not worth going there.
