Art Museum
Admire the collection of art belonging to one of Italy's most famous couples at Pinacoteca Giovanni e Marella Agnelli. Rising from an old industrial complex, the museum building--one of Turin's most recognizable buildings--represents a unique feat of modern architecture, purposely designed to house the works of art collected by industrialist Giovanni Agnelli and his wife Marella, a world-famous socialite. See over 20 works, both sculptures and paintings, created by renowned masters such as Canaletto, Antonio Canova, Henri Matisse, and Pablo Picasso. In addition to the permanent collection, the museum regularly hosts various temporary exhibits; check online to see the full schedule. You can pick up multilingual audio guides or take a guided tour of the museum for an additional fee. • No, we really were not that interested in the small collection of art on display in the gallery, which is certainly not worth the 10 Euros it costs if paying separately. However, by paying to visit th...  more »

  • Small gallery with some nice pieces
  • Small gallery containing art jewelry from 600 to 900: Picasso, Matisse, Modigliani, Canaletto, Bellotto, dance. The permanent collection is of great quality, but limited to 6 salt around. They also organize temporary exhibitions, the latest on Rosemarie Trockel is well worth the visit. 3 hours free parking (inquire about sectors) by visiting the pinacoteca. Easy to reach by public transport

  • Always an interesting visit

  • Small art gallery, but the high artistic quality in an architectural context hardly equatable. Paintings (Picasso, Matisse, Modigliani, Renoir, Canaletto, Manet) are well lit and examined closely, away from the big crowds of some museums. A little pricey but the ticket allows the visit to the Lingotto rooftop track where you can fully appreciate the structure of Renzo Piano.
