(3/5 based on 240+ reviews on the web)
Admire the collection of art belonging to one of Italy's most famous couples at Pinacoteca Giovanni e Marella Agnelli. Rising from an old industrial complex, the museum building--one of Turin's most recognizable buildings--represents a unique feat of modern architecture, purposely designed to house the works of art collected by industrialist Giovanni Agnelli and his wife Marella, a world-famous socialite. See over 20 works, both sculptures and paintings, created by renowned masters such as Canaletto, Antonio Canova, Henri Matisse, and Pablo Picasso. In addition to the permanent collection, the museum regularly hosts various temporary exhibits; check online to see the full schedule. • There are several reasons to travel to this small museum. Last but not least the chance to admire the few but outstanding paintings (Canaletto, Balla, Renoir Cezanne etc. etc.) at a glance. Then there is the immense overview where you can getta.re an eye on Turin and on the underlying neighborhood Nice Makada. Interesting is that to access it you pass on valuable inside track that allowed in wide spirals to terrace. The noisy commercial environments, just take the corridor through the library door lifts, disappear instantly and soon you will reach the floor of Renzo Piano. To keep an eye on even small exhibitions in the year light up the interest for artists, currents and other themes of art.

  • The 25 works contained in the upper room of the structure created by Renzo Piano are masterpieces which in the past have certainly cheered eyes and spirit of holders and which are available for all lovers of art as it should be. The most significant moment of a three-day visit to Turin.
