  • Evening walk after dinner, to escape (unnecessarily!) to the sweltering heat of sultry summer. Beautiful square illuminated by scores of lampposts. A sense of infinite space that is lost to the banks of the river Po. Outdoor tables of the numerous bars and clubs that surround it, with hundreds and hundreds of people sitting and talking, to drink, to eat all that is offered on the inviting by managers. According to good (?) costume now spread everywhere in Italy, cars parked in no parking in the wrong direction on the crosswalk, even on the sidewalks ... I mean institutionalised chaos that disqualifies and violent a unique and particular that takes you back to days gone by, where surely education and respect towards others were their feelings of all. Shame about this negative aspect, which, however, cannot undermine the overall rating of the place and the chance to see him again, maybe at different times from those who today are ' owned ' by those who do not respect the needs of others, but thinks only of its own. Recommended!!

  • You can sit and have a drink or some food, and look down towards the river and the scenery on the opposite side. Lots of cafes and places to sit.  more »
  • Piazza: elongated, in the middle of bisected by the via Po. on one side (to the West) closed by curved building on the other side (in the East) open, but limited by the river Po. and Furthermore the Ponte Vittorio Emanuele I as another extension. The place: lined on the sides by tall houses, down loosened up by arcades. with a linear distribution, in the Central Middle standing, can be seen (Northwest) the tip of the Mole Antonelliana in the distance behind the rooftops. All results in the classical sense of space - every season, tags and even at night.
