Spend time relaxing with the locals at Piazza Vittorio Veneto, a favorite Turin hangout--and the site of fascist rallies during Mussolini's rule. The large square is a popular venue for parades and concerts. Admire the 19th-century buildings that line the square, the view of Turin hill, and the river Po. Yesterday night I was in Torino, west side In Northern Italy, exactly in Piemonte region. This was a royal city in the past, the downtown is magic.

Massive grand piazza in the middle of Turin. One of the main sights of the city so make sure not to miss! Close to other attractions and landmarks, nice architecture and plenty of cafes and restaurants, most with outdoor seating, perfect for a quick coffee or bite to eat.
-
Turin has many impressively large public squares. Piazza Vittorio Veneto is one of its largest. What it has in size, it lacks in charm. The fact that it has a large avenue that divides it right in the middle contributes to a feeling of distance and disunity. Still sometimes size does matter!
-
Lovely square that reaches enough light that makes it shine in the afternoon. The neighborhood makes it special
-
Great piazza lined with restaurants and cafes leading down to the river.
-
Just your typical piazza, flanked by wonderful-looking baroque style buildings and pigeons flying everywhere, what a place. Had to take a step back and admire the scene and take lots of snaps.
