  • Piazza Statuto is one of the most beautiful square of Turin. Surrounded by arcades, characteristic of this city, in the Center a monument to the Frejus tunnel, very beautiful and special. Beautiful gardens surrounding it.

  • Piazza Statuto is located in the central area, not far from Porta Susa. It is a square that personally I wasn't crazy about, compared to all the other beautiful squares that we in Turin. It is famous because it's often part of the magic Turin tour because it is thought that the small obelisk located in an unnamed small garden could be "the tip" of the triangle of dark magics. The fact that for centuries the square was public theatre performances (the guillotine was positioned here) but already in earlier era the area towards Valdocco/Rondo of the gallows was the area dedicated to executions and burial. The square was also the scene of a bloody uprising by the people of Turin that they didn't want the capital was moved to Florence. The army made him take a little hand and came out a hecatomb are beautiful all red and yellow Buildings, built to accommodate families and officials just when you thought it would remain the capital of Italy. Beautiful Fountain Memorial to the fallen of the Frejus tunnel. The boulders you see come from the tunnel, the monument may have different interpretations, you find them. Very beautiful and enigmatic winged genius (or perhaps an Angel, Lucifer, the top) the square owes its name to the Statuto Albertino.

  • With its red buildings of the same height makes it special. Built in 1760. Was the square of the Englishmen because inhabited by English merchants in the period of the late ' 800 early ' 900 (is built by British company Italian Bulding in 1864). The imperious statue dedicated to those who lost their lives in the building of frejus. In the square there is the Spire of Beccaria, the geodetic survey. For decades, between the thirteenth and nineteenth century began boarding the guillotine choke).
