  • Very interesting Museum to find out (or back) a little-known piece of the history of Turin. A guide prepared and passionate (I think for volunteer spirit) shows us the Museum and the characters that were antagonized in that event, focusing on a large model which reproduces the condition of places during the siege of Turin and another who plays the "Citadel" with all its fortifications and the various orders of underground tunnels, where visit that leads to the exact location where Pietro Micca set fire to the powder. We are told of the studies that led to locate the port from which which the French attempted to storm the Citadel, prevented by the soldier's sacrifice. Two crowns are placed in memory that is both Pietro Micca French soldiers lost their lives. A condensed history of Savoy for an hour and a half, which can be a bit challenging for children.

  • Me encanto! It is a place that doesn't promote much for tourism and for me is not to be missed! Excellent local guide (who gave the tour in Italian, but they also offer audio guides in Spanish and other languages). The galleries and the fantastic story that surrounds them will transport you to another world! I recommend.

  • This an excellent museum that describes a fascinating part of the city's history. Walking through the old tunnels is really fun.
  • A little known but Museum of inestimable historical value. Particular praise to highly skilled guides, really among the best present in the museums of Turin. The cost is minimal and you should leave an offer in order to keep the museum open

  • This museum is dedicated to the historical part of Turin, starting from its construction until the wars to defend the city. Explains all the means and strategies that were used then to fight and defend the city. The guides of the Museum involve all within and exhaustively explain everything is exposed. The best part of the Museum is dedicated to Pietro Micca and galleries! highly recommended!

  • Super passionate guides, the first part of the tour explains how did the siege and curiosities of the city at the time, in the second part there is a visit to the Gallery very interesting and addictive! Recommended! Very low ticket price

  • Excellent museum. Guided tour very interesting about the siege of Turin and on the figure of Pietro Micca. The Museum is run by volunteers since unfortunately the funds are scarce. However their love towards this part of history-very important not only for the city of Turin but also in view of the subsequent unification of Italy-is passed on to visitors. The visit to the underground tunnels.
