  • Short sobering Museum on the figure of Lombroso. A controversial character who has carried out his theories and his study of criminals. With deplorable consequences but also from its mistakes and its good intentions there were some progress in many sciences.

  • Nice Museum located in a historic home to other realities. Fast and smooth to visit, reflect on the influence of positivism in Criminology. A piece of our scientific history, even if passed, not to be forgotten. Nice exposure a bit in dim light to distort the beauty of the place and what there is content: skeletons, scientific instruments, weapons ... would be better valued. Thanks to the University to keep him alive.

  • This museum is the symbol of why Turin is rightfully a true capital of culture. In fact, although smaller and niche than most famous in the city, this museum is well prepared, groomed to pleasant to visit despite the argument is difficult and the scholar still highly controversial. First of all, from the Centre you can reach the vicinity of the building by public transport (i.e. line 18), but it's worth a walk if the weather permits, because it gets you closer you might Meanwhile cross the Valentino Park. Arrived on site, consider also visiting the Museum of fruit and Anatomy, that do not require a great deal of time and are located in the same building. As for the Museum of Criminology, this illustrates well the historical and social context of the time when Cesare Lombroso he advanced his theories, highlighting the insights but also the limits of his scientific approach to social deviance. There you will find vintage footage, reconstructions and acting of "cases" to Lombroso, as well as tools of analysis, a plethora of skulls, clothing and "murder weapons" of all kinds ... including crucifixes that conceal knives! Really an interesting visit, which allows you to discover a true father of criminal trials, whose insights led to the birth of absolutely up investigation fields over a century away.

  • Interesting place, but not a must see. It's an small museum.
  • Excellent muesuem! Great deal of information! You can emurse yourself in the history of criminal anthropology
  • Bellissimo museo
  • Is a unique Museum in the world and I think a place like this should be visited with an objective eye, leaving aside their opinions about the experiments conducted by Lombroso. In addition, it is useful to understand the mindset of the past and see how science has been able to make progress. The only flaw for the property in which is located the Museum: the building should be renovated and ' valued '. 《 Science proceeds for errors. 》

  • Love it, very well explained, organized, tells the whole story of Lombroso. Then at the end there is a projector explaining about his life and work. Every Wednesday, the entrance is free.
