  • Unique Museum. A blast from the past who first tried to fathom the brain and human behavior of criminals ...

  • Museum really interesting and well made, contains numerous exhibits of studies of Lombroso, neatly categorized and supported by adequate explanations, video or poster. For those who write that these are deficient cases have two, or can't read or don't have the patience to review carefully all of the exhibits. Lombroso's studies are well contextualized historical cultural and social landscape in which he lived the scientist, is well illustrated his working method and it is undeniable that, despite the erroneous conclusions that he drew, classification, storage and analytical study operated by Lombroso is de facto forerunner of modalities adopted in modern forensic science (I repeat, I am talking about the maniacal preservation of evidence and analytical minuziositá of crime , not the conclusions drawn from Lombroso). Entrance fees: 5 euros, reduced for students 3 euros, available through ticket for Anatomy Museum and Museum of fruit. The only flaw: should be better exploited in advertising, from driving directions.

  • Very comprehensive Museum, full of funny story about the origin of criminal anthropology. In particular the photographs of offenders, weapons used in crimes and description of their modus operandi, the death masks and ceramic jugs of prisons with the inscriptions of the damned dated us dive into a sinister world and chilling. Samples of skulls and brains used for studies of phrenology are also part of the fascinating exhibition. Of course I could not fail to mention the gallows of Turin, which was widely used in the 19th century for public execution.

  • An interesting museum about the forensics of crime
  • A better arrangment of the exhibition could definitely improve the appeal, from the entrance to the visit itself. Sometimes there aren't caption so it isn't easy to understand what is displayed, sometimes the voiceover voice disturbs while you're reading the room description.
  • Interesting place, but not a must see. It's an small museum.
  • Excellent muesuem! Great deal of information! You can emurse yourself in the history of criminal anthropology
  • Very interesting and unique museum
