  • They say it's the shroud! Is the most important relic is symbolic, which is filled with energy, the world; I don't have to add anything!

  • I went on a school trip in June 2015 and the real shroud was on display, they wouldn't let us take pictures inside but the feeling you get inside the church is indescriptible. Definitely the highlight...  more »
  • Small museum, but well organized. You can start with a video explaining the Holy Shroud in the light of what is written in the Gospels and what insights reveal. This is followed by the actual Museum is right where there are exhibits about the ' journey ' of the Holy Shroud from 1300 to the present day. Preparation for the visit of the Holy Shroud. You should also visit the adjacent church.

  • I visited summer of 2014. We stayed at Le Petit Hotel (approx.50 Euro Hotel including breakfast) just an easy walk from the main train station in Turin (Torino) and easy walk to the Museum. The Museum "tour" is done by a headset in your language as you walk through at your own pace. The life size hologram of the crucified Man in the image is by itself worth visiting this museum. The museum was only a few Euros for admission and yes the workers were very kind. If you can read up on the observed scientific evidence about the Shroud Fabric and the Image before your visit you will have the most appreciation. Documented scientific observations of the shroud and its image are mostly consistent with scriptures of the abuse, crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Messiah Christ. I highly recommend the visit.
  • Speechless
  • The museum by itself is quite small; nevertheless, the keepers were really kind and willing to help.
  • The staff was quite annoyed (especially humans). Very interesting initial presentation with a video and audio guides. Subsequently (always with the audio guides) you were interesting facts. But after a while got bored because the lower Hall kept repeating the same things of home video with some small study. Beautiful church with a photo of the shroud. Recommended religious practitioners and those who want to learn a little something more. Discouraged only go to this Museum in Turin.

  • Location very useful to enhance and deepen the path in the Cathedral and the chapel of the Holy Shroud. Excellent reproduction in the Museum.
