  • The Museum of the Shroud is very interesting historical and religious point of view and is definitely worth a visit. Inside you can admire the sacred cloth on which is engraved the image of Christ and you will receive information from the Guide and multilingual booklets

  • Before leaving for Turin to visit the museo della Sindone (whose original tarp contemplated once every 10 years) had called for the times expecting to leave on November 1; over the phone I was reassured that there would have been no problem and that the time in the morning was from 9 to 11 and I arrived at 12. with me two other tourists who have been literally blocked the entrance rather cramped and uncared for. The Lady dark face and hair altered and I reiterated that the entrance was already closed at 11. now faevo this to the receptionist (witch) who yesterday had called from Milan to request confirmation of the morning that everything was as the other days. The Lady brunette witch at that point and threatened to trigger the alarm not later than 12; nervously I and the tourists visited with panic attacks and heavy like lead multimedia installations with a cellphone and even had a video with the anxiety of those who do not "supposed to contemplate" but escape not later than 12. A distinguished gentleman Museum attendant apologized mortified. So much for contemplation.! Poor guy and poor us tourists of November 1, 2016!

  • I visited summer of 2014. We stayed at Le Petit Hotel (approx.50 Euro Hotel including breakfast) just an easy walk from the main train station in Turin (Torino) and easy walk to the Museum. The Museum "tour" is done by a headset in your language as you walk through at your own pace. The life size hologram of the crucified Man in the image is by itself worth visiting this museum. The museum was only a few Euros for admission and yes the workers were very kind. If you can read up on the observed scientific evidence about the Shroud Fabric and the Image before your visit you will have the most appreciation. Documented scientific observations of the shroud and its image are mostly consistent with scriptures of the abuse, crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Messiah Christ. I highly recommend the visit.

  • The museum by itself is quite small; nevertheless, the keepers were really kind and willing to help.
  • The staff was quite annoyed (especially humans). Very interesting initial presentation with a video and audio guides. Subsequently (always with the audio guides) you were interesting facts. But after a while got bored because the lower Hall kept repeating the same things of home video with some small study. Beautiful church with a photo of the shroud. Recommended religious practitioners and those who want to learn a little something more. Discouraged only go to this Museum in Turin.

  • Location very useful to enhance and deepen the path in the Cathedral and the chapel of the Holy Shroud. Excellent reproduction in the Museum.
