Home to one of the most important Asian art collections in Italy, MAO - Museo d'Arte Orientale is inside the Palazzo Mazzonis. Begin your tour on the first floor with the Neolithic China displays, including bronzes from the Han and Tang dynasties. The second floor showcases Tibetan and Buddhist cultural artifacts. The third displays artifacts from the Arabian Peninsula. The palace also features Japanese statues, paintings and a Japanese rock garden. • Highly respected for the quality of the Museum exhibits. Beautiful statues. A Museum is not to be missed as well. The samurai is the icing on the cake.

  • Such a peaceful place with an incredibly stunning collection. Try to go soon as the Women in Bali photographic exhibition is on and it's wonderful!
  • If you love Asia's art, history and archeology, this is definitely the place to feed your mind.
  • Interesting temporary exhibition at the moment about architecture of Yeman
  • Great calm place. On the weekdays has very little visitors, so it feels almost as if you were there on your own. Personally, I liked it slightly more that Museo Egizio. This one in comparison feeled a little bit lighter and happier, maybe because it wasn't so much death centered. Anyway, you should definitely go there and see it by yourself!
  • It is a nice museum with some interesting sculptures
