I toretti, Turin
(4.6/5 based on 700+ reviews on the web)
I toretti, or small fountains with the head of a bull, symbolize Turin for locals and tourists alike. You won’t likely visit them all, as there are 800 spread out across the city’s public spaces. The fresh water they provide proves invaluable during hot weather. Politicians have tried to replace them with water-saving, on-demand fountains, but locals resist such efforts. Bring a water bottle and fill up at one of these for free. See I toretti and all Turin has to offer by arranging your trip with our Turin tour planner.

  • Drinking fountains scattered here and there for Turin, are now part of the landscape and are much loved by tourists and residents.

  • When the summer heat grips in Turin you can do a small refreshing break at one of the ubiquitous torelli verdi, for a drink of cool water or get wet. the tap water tastes good and is cool enough.

  • The "turet," Tan muzzle fresh water flowing from Greens are possibly one of the symbols of Turin. For water quality and to the strict controls of the aqueduct you can drink safely
