  • A real credit to the city of Turin! The Gallery is very well laid out and easy to navigate, the collections are of indescribable beauty. Is a must for art lovers.

  • I am not a lover of painting, still worth going to. Think about how much was commissioned, bought and preserved over the centuries ... cannot but think of a world that has now disappeared. Very nice the part located on the ground floor, with a pale of famous painters.

  • In the 16th and 17th century the Dukes of Savoy develop very refined collections of precious objects that are collected in this gallery

  • Fantastic gallery featuring many great works on three levels. You'll need a couple of hours to complete it, but it's well worth the tour. We happen to get in for free on Sunday, but I'm not sure if it's every Sunday.
  • It's the archeological museum of Turin. It has amazing paintings. And this place is huge!
  • The museum doesn't have the best collection ever compared to other galleries, but the exposition is well done with nice descriptions. The museum is big, so it will take time to visit it all.
  • Interesting museum in Turin, with some remarkable paintings but still it's not the best art collection in Europe. To be highlighted is the Italian, Dutch and Flemish collections.
  • Bright and spacious rooms where you can admire works of great importance. Beginning with "Polyptychs" where the most significant, in my opinion, are those by Defendente Ferrari. Many works commissioned to the great painters but also to minor painters if prices were too high, by private benefactors who portray with their patron saints. On this topic are below letters from people who tell of this or that painter of the time and their prices. Interesting the way of writing of the period. It also exposed a valuable Missal finely decorated coming from Flanders where they spread. Many works of Flemish painters with their beautiful and vibrant colors. Beautiful marble carving relief "sifted material" where the faces convey serenity and joy. Precious engraved steel shield to "etching" and Golden: it seems almost a watermark. Grace and delicacy in the works of Botticelli. All this and much more in the context of the beautiful Savoy Gallery where most of the works were owned by Savoia which used painters like current and photographers to showcase their businesses and to capture the faces of their loved ones . To visit multiple times because the mind can assimilate so much beauty.
