  • We are located in downtown, at the intersection of via San Domenico and via Milano. The Church is in the Gothic style, built by Dominican friars in the first half of the 14th century and is one of the few testimonies of medieval church in Turin. The Interior has three naves and basically is the Rosary chapel built by architect Luigi Barberis, while the altar there is a beautiful painting by Guercino depicting the Madonna of the Rosary with Saints Dominic and Catherine of Siena. At the end of the left aisle is the chapel of mercy in which remains the one cycle of frescoes of Turin, painted around 1360 by an anonymous artist called "maestro di San Domenico". The Bell Tower was added in 1450, while over the years underwent numerous alterations. Very interesting.

  • We did stop quick lunch right in front of this beautiful church, on the wall of the entrance a pointed gable granissimo inside aisles with side altars for every aisle, two chapels flanking the choir and high altar. On the left, the chapel of mercy (lights by putting 50 cents) with a cycle of frescoes of the fourteenth century, the twelve apostles, the Announciation and at the Centre of the chapel a XVI century with the Madonna della mela. Very nice also the chapel of the Rosary, with the shovel by Guercino covered with marbles and Baroque decorations beautiful floor design. If you open please visit the sacristy with 600 furniture and a small collection of banners & crowns
