  • ... to the arts, in a rarefied atmosphere and cozy, very relaxing and according a stopover longer or shorter depending on the interest of each, but to see anyway

  • Went yesterday afternoon to see a wonderful view of motorcycles in this salon. For me it was a real sinking heart review where, as a child, I used to buy fish with Grandma! The restaurant is lovely and illuminated by the Sun that filters into large Windows. A must see!

  • I admit to having a great nostalgia for the Big fish market (as we used to call us from Trieste) and in my memories of girls there are the enormous white marble counters filled with fish of every kind, the floor wet, the shouting cheerful fishmongers and the smell of the sea. I loved going there after a walk in the nearby piazza of the unit and feed the pigeons ..... Oh yes, seemed to be in Venice there was a lady with a little feast that sold the corn. The Big Fish is nice aesthetically, in Art Nouveau style, was built in 1913 and soon was dubbed "Basilica di santa Maria del Guató" (the Guató is a pescilolino that you are fishing in our country) to the curious bell tower that still makes a fine show in the part occupied by the Marine Aquarium and that served to mask a system to bring the water in the Aquarium. For some years now, our beautiful and lively fish market has become the "Hall of enchantments" that should be a modern art exhibition center but is little used and often woefully empty. My vote goes to very beautiful that Board to see.

  • Is the old fish market of Trieste converted (alas!) for many years in a large exhibition hall. Shame not to be exploited better. The exhibits are few and the available space is not used as it deserves. In Trieste is known as Santa Maria del Zakigay (goby in Italian) for the past popular fish market.

  • Place where are held periodically exhibitions. The building is worth seeing (former percheria, with the fish market of the city of Trieste). Exhibitions vary, both genre and quality ...

  • The former fish market in Trieste has become an enormous Hall for cultural events, exhibitions, meetings. The structure is fascinating.
