Museo Storico del Castello di Miramare was built between 1856 and 1860 as a residence for Austrian Archduke Ferdinand Maximilian of Hapsburg and his wife, Charlotte of Belgium. Wander the lavish rooms, complete with original furnishings, including Maximilian's and Charlotte's chambers, the throne room, and the music room. To learn more about the castle, visit the information center and study the paintings in room XIX, which depict the history of Miramare.   • Very beeindruckenes, well preserved historic castle with very well preserved paintings and original furniture and furnishings, you might think to make a journey through time. Very good location next to the sea.

  • Those who love fairy tales can not miss visiting Miramare Castle, built in the 19th century to be the summer residence of the scions of the Austrian Imperial House. The interiors are perfect and describe what was supposed to be the life of his nobles owners.
