  • The Castello di Miramare built by Maximilian, is a milestone in the region's architecture. Overlooking the Adriatic Sea, immaculately white and surrounded by a beautiful park, houses inside the Museo Storico, where we can admire the furniture and try to imagine the customs of the time. Its imposing architectural Division, and their accessories are distributed along many rooms, make the place an attraction not to be missed. Despite being a bit far from the city centre, is easily accessible by common bus line, urban, with comfort and speed. A visit not to be missed!

  • wonderful! the sea, from where you can admire a beautiful view of the Gulf of Trieste. Built in the second half of the ' 800, was home of Archduke Ferdinand Maximilian and his wife Charlotte of Belgium, where they lived until he moved to Mexico, where he met his death. His place was taken in the Castle by the Duke Amedeo of Savoy who had it restored and lived with his wife and two daughters. There are many rooms, bedroom, bathroom, dining room, library, ballroom, the throne and the furnishings are original. Tickets cost 8 euros but definitely worth the visit!

  • Impressive and fascinating speechless especially for the view from the garden. Well preserved interiors give an idea of the richness of the Habsburg Dynasty.
