  • Even before the Aquileia archaeological museum were reunited here the gravestones of Hans ' and Christianity in a romantic setting of rare beauty. To see absolutely.

  • the garden in front of the Museum said tersely. will be that I am not a fan of this kind of history but not much I liked, near the tombstones of weeds and a few cards here and there. Inside a room the grave of a man who is said to have been the father of history. But then again it's not the kind of story that I like. Other people might find it interesting.

  • Is a special garden in which they are inserted remains, from various periods, of tombstones inscriptions and old engravings, capitals and stuff. The most important thing, that should be visited, is a small classical temple that houses the tomb of the father of the history of art, Winckelmann.

  • The Museum, with free admission, presents some interesting sections, like the one dedicated to jewellery of Roman and an extensive collection of Greek artifacts. Added value is the presence of orto lapidario with the Cenotaph of Winckelmann.

  • Covering different periods of history and civilization: prehistory, protohistory, Greek, Roman, Egyptian, Etruscan, neoclassicism, Magna Greece, Romans, Maya etc. interesting interior rooms, a pleasant garden in which there is also a monument to Winckelmann. Extraordinary events often take place there, such as "archaeology". The ticket office was moved to the entrance of via della Cattedrale, which passes almost unnoticed. It is worth looking for it (you have to go down the street in front of the Cathedral of San Giusto).

  • A museum to visit (like all museums). There are many artifacts and paintings on the history, since ancient times, and how it has affected the development of the city
