  • In October at the Museum of natural history of Trieste 2016 we went we had already had the pleasure to visit years ago. Meanwhile, the structure was moved and refurbished with a result really appreciable. The visit, which lasts about 1 hour and a half, flowing leisurely through the various rooms. Our main interest was to see the famous dinosaur Antonio who was in our memories since1994, when we had the good fortune to visit the excavations that had just begun. The captions are clear, well preserved skeleton and even with visible tendons and is one of the most complete specimens found even in Europe. Very interesting also the room with various human skeletons and the first example of a tooth "cured" more a copy of skeleton of Lucy, an Australopithecus lived in Africa more than 3 million years ago. To conclude, I can assure you that your visit will be appreciated also to children with various specimens of stuffed animals and a real white shark. I mean ... don't miss this Museum! Attention to these times because sometimes on the site are out of date.

  • This museum, is definitely in my opinion one of the best for the kids, a multitude of stuffed animals at close range, a large number of skeletons and interactive games for children but also for adults, the relatively small size (you visit in less than two hours) means that you can't get bored. Our girls of 5 and 7 years rave about it! Entrance costs quite low!

  • The new museo civico di Trieste is housed in a former Firehouse along with the Museum of war and peace by Henriquez. He is currently a working progress with new halls at the opening as being newly designed open rooms are thematic and well distributed. There is also the most complete dinosaur ever discovered dinosaur Antonio, in Europe, that alone is worth the price of admission. Another attraction of the Museum is the largest shark ever caught in Europe and the second-longest at mando with a mouth of nearly one metre and a length of 5 meters. Comfortable and modern, suitable for families and schools the museo civico di Trieste is absolutely one of the sights of the beautiful city of Trieste. Neighborhood place slightly device enjoys easy parking for camper car or bus.

  • Nice Museum, organized and prepared well. Child-size, which they can enjoy playing games specially designed for them and also interagento with some animals alive. Not to be missed. You can also organize birthday parties for children, who can move and play for the Museum, learning a lot, playing ... Congratulations to the organizers (4 stars because you can always improve, even the things already excellent as this Museum).

  • In the natural history museum you can see lots of animals, including these two: cave lion and the cave bear. The cave bear could weigh as much as 500 kg and reach 3 m in height. For more than a year in the Museum also exhibited a white shark caught in the early 1900s the Kvarner waters near the island of Cres. Its total length is approximately 7 metres!

  • Museum which is well worth a visit, if only for the dinosaur Antonio unique, but also the rest of the exhibition on two floors is worth. Specially designed for children with end angle in which they may lash out in games and designs! Highly recommended though off hand but with the possibility of free parking around
