  • Nice location above the fruit and vegetable market where in one place are hamburgers (meat) fish (great risotto) Tuscan salami (paninazzi) Chinese, lampredotto, Neapolitan pizza (good ingredients) pasta (as in the restaurant of medium quality) cheeses, Sicilian pastries, biscotti toscani. OK to make a distinguished a dish with a dozen ravioli with shrimp €15! I have to take and bring to the table in a plastic plate with plastic fork ... incooleit! Does drinking however you wear it cute girls. Once is enough not to repeat Hi

  • Perhaps it is little noticed but the market hall is a place to (re) discover. Simply enter it to leave behind the chaos of the city and to breathe the atmosphere of the market. Scents, colors and sympathy will accompany you during your visit. On the ground floor you will find mainly groceries like fruits, vegetables, bread, fruits and vegetables, meat and fish. On the first floor, fully renovated, clothing stores, crafts, antiques, make up, massage, nail art and spectacular outfits hire for all occasions. New stores are opening!

  • The first floor of the market town of Trieste is repopulating of craft shops selling hand made, commercial clothing, tricks, antique shops and Vintage clothing, there is also a small Mini Spa Express for a quick massage, well worth a visit and purchases.

  • I remember as a child, my grandmother and uncle were working inside. Is a little abandoned hats off to those who work there now, but it is no longer what it once was

  • Typical place, well laid out. Great for grocery shopping on the ground floor and the first floor.

Where to stay in Trieste

Trieste's historical town center is filled with a host of hotels boasting comfortable rooms with panoramic views of the surrounding area. Hotels in this zone also tend to be pricey and often require booking well in advance. If you are traveling on a budget and prefer not to forge your plans months in advance, consider staying at a private guesthouse or B&B. Trieste's family-run operations not only provide spacious rooms and access to private outdoor space, but also serve their guests with insider tips about the city's less-known bars, restaurants, and historical sites.
