  • We visited the shelter Monday, October 31 and I must say we were impressed by the ability of the Guide to illustrate and describe best what was one of the shelters of Trieste of the 2nd World War. Highly recommended. Also of interest is the photo exhibition. Suggest that you raise the entrance fee. 3 euro are Parker for the effort and time today from the guides.

  • I was pleasantly impressed by the Organization and passion that is transmitted; Since I became aware of this magical place I have recommended it to everyone. I find it absurd and hallucinatory that most of people from Trieste to fall from the clouds when I talk about it, surely the visits and themed days you have recreated are slowly bringing the knowledge to a wider audience. It saddens me to think that these views are not funded by the city rich in history but rather from great patience and organization born out of a passion for the story to a place that you can not surely forget. Thanks to all the volunteers to keep alive in the soul of Trieste a chapter so dark and important.

  • The Kleine Berlin I knew nothing about, while living in Trieste from 13 years. This complex of underground tunnels is little known and advertised. Which is unfortunate since the place is really fascinating and the guided tour (curated by volunteers) turned out to be interesting and fun. The guides have been able to tell us a piece of Italian history and city, with rich details and dotes, succeeding in an effort not easy to maintain the interest of a group quite heterogeneous and with many children (between large and small were 31). For those who want to visit in the winter Council warm clothing (there is a lot of moisture) and shoes that take the water in some places has the floor. The lighting is good so don't need torches. If it may concern, visits without reservations are possible every last Friday of the month at 20.00 hours.
