  • The Park is very beautiful! Many tall trees, flower beds with flowers, a lot of meadows with lawn and even has a small lake with floating turtles! The feeling of a forest in the city! Specifically for children of different age categories provides entertainment in the form of swings, slides, chess, table tennis and other more. Do not forget about parents: in the park there is an outdoor café and summer tobogganing! An orchestra plays on weekends! I love there walking with your child and others advise!

  • The "Giardino pubblico" in its local name, was performed at the half of the XIX century. His name is actually that of the Mayor of Trieste at that time, Muzio de Tommasini, who decided its construction on land purchased by the city and owned by Benedictine nuns, who wanted to instead build a church and residential buildings. The green zone, which is accessed by seven entries, extends over an area of 30,000 m², flat and fitted with a wide variety of plants, flowers and shrubs. A small nice Lake complete the internal landscape. It is one of the most beautiful parks in the city you can find in Italy. Central enough, benefiting from the shady trees, the many benches to sit and read quietly even in high summer, with many paths and trails and it has a space for kids with playground, with a scene where in the warm summer evenings you can attend sessions of cinema, well maintained and with as public toilets This small park is an oasis of peace in the city. I would point out to complete a giant checkerboard, on which you can play, if you can find an opponent at your fingertips! Many busts of public figures who have made the history of Trieste (representatives of civil society, artists, writers, it is linked to the novel the Confessions of Zeno of the writer Italo Svevo) are located in green spaces and give you a first glimpse of the cosmopolitan composition of this border town, until the beginning of the XX century favourite port of the Austro-Hungarian empire and its capital Vienna. And if I have to report a problem to the visitor, but that is certainly the least, this would be the sometimes cumbersome presence of seagulls, loud and aggressive in search of food, or mosquitoes, a bit boring in some summer evenings! But this must not hold you, and if you have a little NAP between your walks, "Trieste" - in this great Park!

  • I went to the park for a morning run and is ideal, a green area in the middle of Trieste, shame about the dog droppings that were not collected.

  • This place is really nice. Try running there, or even just walking along it's curved paths.
  • Un bellissimo giardino!
  • Nice nature
  • This is a nice museum to visit
  • See a bit of green in the middle of the city. Great to go for a run on the fly on lunch break, too bad that even in summer close already at 20. A lot attended, especially on weekends and after school. Some individual disturbing encountered yet.
