  • I was there just a few days ago and at first was not great either. The view below points out the wear indicator of marble under the platform, the elevator going up or down smelled a bit, but it was worth it. From the platform there was a spectacular view.   • The Lighthouse is one of the symbols of Trieste, too bad it's not valued properly in various tourist offers. Worth a visit for the views it offers (perfect vantage point for the Barcolana) and from which you can take great pictures. And then binds to the history of the great war having been built to pay homage to the fallen sailors. Unfortunately, visiting hours are limited, usually on weekends and only for a few hours. Free admission. Very good!!
