  • Is located in the part of town that I love, close to the Grand canal, where there are a lot of small cafes where you can drink, and where you can walk in peace! the Orthodox Church is majestic white and Golden on the outside, inside it is being renovated and in March 2017 there were scaffolds inside dark, solemn, quiet! To visit

  • This building is located in central Trieste on a piazza featuring other historical buildings and many cafes. The church is in immaculate condition and beautifully decorated.  more »
  • Strolling near the Grand Canal is impossible not to notice this church. The Serbian-Orthodox Temple of the Holy Trinity and Saint Spiridon is the Serb Orthodox community Church of Trieste. The architectural complex, near the Grand canal, reflected a Byzantine taste and is characterized by a higher dome of the four bell towers, the cups for the large blue hemispheric mosaic decorations that adorn the exterior walls. Adorn the facade nine large statues. The Interior is richly decorated in Byzantine canons, entirely decorated with oil paintings mimicking the mosaic. In the chancel there are three altars. The great silver lamp that hangs at the entrance is a gift from Paul Petrovich, future Tsar of russia under the name of Paul i. so much history!
