  • A gem of Trieste few know... the botanical garden with beautiful hydrangeas and beautiful water lilies is well-removed is but especially in the spring and early summer worth a visit.

  • After an uphill walk (w the streets of Trieste) we come to the Botanic Garden. Everything is laid out across multiple paths between areas dedicated to useful plants, edible, magical along a trail of poisonous plants and poisonous between Lotus ponds and flower beds of hydrangeas. Unfortunately the season is warm and the garden at times left to itself and the flowers were not in the best shape. Recommend the visit in the spring. At the end of the trip back to the infopoint is located an area where small potted plants to be exchanged! You can bring you pots or get one to take home. I found it magical and adorable.

  • Small vegetable garden in the city centre, almost on top of a hill. The path is well thought out and may ask at the info Point maps and brochures. The gardens also participate in an Exchange with visitors if you want you can bring small jars and leave them there for future visitors.
