  • I've perused the reviews of the Acquario Marino before our Trieste holiday and wanted to convince myself - unfortunately all negative votes vote. Small and manageable Aquarium (ground floor) with Terarium Department (1st floor), looks very in the years and maintained only in moderation. Traug makes with a lay knowledge considered dismal existence of many animals in individual attitude and much to small containers or water Chambers in the fish - which can be nowhere humanely! And a lower expectations when walking into no less does not make better the suffering of animals, the situation and is pure self-deception. In fact some containers (won't?) are in operation, refers the Penguin pool, and many things looks scruffy and abandoned. The basin with the mini shark was open top, a ladder leaning on and during our stay (45 minutes) no guards far and wide. Moderately interesting, because also somehow amateurish raised, the insect and snake Department on the first floor - here there is at least a guardian. A yellow Burmese Python nearly 5 metres long is curled up in her enclosure, which measures approximately 2 m2 of floor space. How much the animal here is able to "move", everyone can imagine probably. The only reason to forgive the review "Flawed" and not "inadequate" is one of those that still water in containers of fish, is inside... Entrance fee € 4.50 = 09:00 17:00, Sunday closed

  • Seen the size really small enough really just enhance it and make it a little more interesting and alive. Between the little light and spaces just won't attract anything. Poor fish!

  • Having the space maybe you couldn't do more, but still some reason of interest, in view of the large aquarium which comes along. It was almost better than before with the charm of the ancient and popular penguins. Entrance fee excessive.
