  • In this area where the river Adda flows towards the end of his course in the hills, was built this old hydroelectric power station, which is an important piece and maybe only one of industrial archaeology.

  • Alessandro Taccani hydroelectric plant is one of the most beautiful and better integrated into the landscape of Northern Italy hydroelectric power. Built at the beginning of ' 900, for that of the Minister, allows the Adda River to be navigated and controls its flow up to and above the Visconti Castle (worth a visit), after which the river drops to the Valley breaking into a fascinating canyon (nice view from the gardens of the Castle!). Along the Adda River, there is a beautiful and wide before the Central walk, with some restaurants and coffee bar. The river is navigable by boat, alone or with a small boat. The scenery is idyllic in all seasons. If you are in the area worth a stroll.
