  • We were here in the company of our daughters 12/9/16. We started our visit to Treviso entering from Porta San Tommaso therefore walk a little along the beautiful walls that surround the historic city of Treviso is perhaps the most relaxing thing to do. On one side you can see the Bell Tower of the Cathedral and the Torre del comune and the other looking at the Peninsula of paradise with its rabbits, geese and hens in complete freedom. Designed in 1509 to protect the village from the attack of Venice, were supplemented by a hydraulic system which he used as a further defense, the waters of the canals to flood the surrounding countryside. Visit inevitable Hello from Roby/Lucy from Sant'Anastasia (Na)

  • After the exhibition on impressionism and the visit to the old town, all that remains is to finish with a relaxing walk on the walls surrounding the historical centre of Treviso. The walls have been restored very well and the top has a pleasant tree-lined promenade. Inward you can see palaces and towers, to the outside you can admire the river that surrounds the town. Significant foreshortening on "paradise peninsula", a bucolic corner. In the walls open to the outside "ports"; particularly beautiful monumental gates of "Saints forty" and "Saint Thomas"

  • Nice and relaxing stroll at sunset along the walls of this beautiful city. Only big problem parking in the historic species over the weekend. Patience and luck to find one.

  • This place is beautiful, full of life and very well kept. Treviso is a walled city and a big part of the north wall (the high inner part, over the actual wall) has been turned into a linear park, the outside has a river and a really nice place called "Penisola del Paradiso", a little island full of bunnies, chickens, roosters, ducks and swans, you can't access but you can see them from different angles. You can go for a run, use your bike to go around the almost 7 km or just a nice walk.
  • You can make beautiful walks with the dog. There are beautiful colors from nature

  • The historic walls of which this year is celebrating 500 years with various initiatives that will be completed next year. Have been remodeled and are much frequented by Treviso. In summer we organize various events and concerts and in winter there are attractions like the ice skating rink. Taking you from Saranda Port until piazzale Burchiellati you can enjoy the greenery and tranquillity whilst being in city centre.

  • A large and pleasant pedestrian path, allowing you to rise several metres from street level, enough to forget for a while the urban traffic.
