  • On our last day at the Antica Dimora All Rocca hotel in Trevi, I heard children calling to each other. The sound bounces off the cobblestone streets of Trevi - a lovely walled city. My sister and I we...  more »
  • Trevi's Cathedral, dedicated to Sant'Emiliano, stands on the most central and highest point of Trevi and its Bell Tower, though paradoxically it is hard to see up close, hidden from the maze of buildings in the old town, is instantly recognisable from the Plains as the highest point of the village. The Church itself is interesting although in general I don't think you can count among the masterpieces of religious art. The exterior is very simple and portray the old apses (become current in the orientation of the Church clearly side moved in the past). The Interior remodelled in the Baroque style, is the left altar of the sacrament (possibly an altar in the past), elegantly carved in dark stone, while but the current presbytery does not attract particular attention.
