  • We stumbled upon by accident but it is really a little gem. Certainly worth a visit if you go to Trento

  • Church 500esca, which got closed, a pity given that the façade is interesting, one of the first models a single Hall, it seems that it was a part of the famous Council. A single nave, a friend of Trentino explains to me that in recent years has been restored and cleaned up and that has an intense story for sure stratified as evidenced by some excavations have unearthed existing structures. The portal is very nice: surmounted by a canopy. Despite the Interior remains for me a wild card, I could perceive the beauty outside, not equal to that of the Cathedral, but still worthy of note.

  • This renacentista-barroca Church consecrated in the 16th century, already existed in Roman times as thermal area and Church of San Vigilio there by the S.IV. It is a single nave (with side altars) and is in very good condition. Against what one may think, it was not "without" the headquarters of the Council of Trent, Assembly which had 25 sessions and lasted from 1545 to 1563. This temple hosted only the third session of the famous Council, the 4 of February of 1546 (that me corrected if I'm wrong), as there was that move the headquarters to Bologna on the occasion of an outbreak of plague. The most notable are the frescoes that reproduce moments of the Council and the unique Bell Tower of 53 m. with 2 levels of grim Romanesque Windows of 3 lights and polygonal dome. From here we accede to the so-called "archaeological Area" of Trento.
