  • find it was challenging but isn't worth it. This white casting (in parts where it's more treated) is impressive and evocative. very photogenic.

  • The cretto occupies the site of the old Gibellina, twenty kilometers from the country again. To get there you have to take someone because the road is not recommended. Walking between the bare walls of white cement, under the blue sky, is really wonderful and there is usually no living soul around, no fence, no caretaker, no refreshment. Only you and the artwork that Burri has impressed in the Sicilian landscape.

  • We are talking about the greatest work of landart in the world created by Alberto Burri on the ruins of the old Gibellina destroyed by earthquake in Bwelice of 1968. Needless to emphasize their importance and impact that the vision has the visitor already coming in the distance but especially camminadoci. Too bad it's a bit abandoned with weeds and undergrowth looking to make space in the cement and the scarcity of directions. There are no parking or entrance real nor any information structure, perhaps the locals has never accepted this artwork ...

  • Remarkable site.
  • Awesome artwork and surreal, immersed in the silence of the countryside of the valle del Belice, inviting you to remember and reflect.

  • Opera commemorating the massacre of the earthquake of Gibellina, with the reconstruction of the city map in cement ... Something surreal ... nestled in the Valley of belice, extreme silence makes you immerse in thoughts that inevitably lead to think about what was that place! Gave me the impression of being a little too forgotten, in fact you see traits of work in which the cement begins to collapse and the road to get it rough!

  • I visited for the first time in the event AUDIOGHOST68, Robert of NASA (massive attack) and Giancarlo Neri. Formidable both!
