  • The site is certainly worth seeing, too bad the directions are really really poor, we walked there attempts; the roads are bumpy. The site is badly manutentato, amidst the enormous blocks of cement plants already growing. Complete absence of any caption or minimal explanation as to why you created this titanic work moderates, relief ... The place is definitely impressive and oozes angst ... certainly makes the idea and purpose that this contemporary opera wants to convey.

  • The feeling, coming to the ruins of Gibellina, is of immense sadness; the view of the Cretto by Burri has kindled within us a particular enthusiasm; I do not know properly evaluate if the artist's work has made a major impression; as we arrived we left old Gibellina with a feeling of great sadness.

  • Arriving at the Cretto you notice many homes destroyed. The scenery is on one side a little creepy and sad on the other colors and the Cretto are an exceptional view. An immense work in the middle of nowhere in memory of a city that no longer exists. We visited and we took photos on a windy day and rainy, but the atmosphere is beautiful. A little hard to find because of many roads closed and little indication but worth it.

  • Remarkable site.
  • Far be it from me to evaluate the work of Burri, I don't have the skills. Place to be seen, to be lived. Of strong visual and emotional impact. The road is rough and hard to find. A suggested by google maps is impractical, since a cave-in. We appeal to the help of a friendly trucker. Even signs, information boards, not even a table with the name of the work and the artist. ABSOLUTE NOTHINGNESS, that probably strengthens involuntarily the impact of the work. From Sicily, I always have that feeling of "might be gorgeous, shame. Don't we deserve nothing. "

  • An absolutely charming and full of history and emotions. That silence has so much to say and all of us should hear him. Unbearable tourists irreverent

  • Abandoned. You may park among the brushwood or along the way. No disclosures, even the most mundane. But the emotional impact is overwhelming. This poured concrete that covers the whole city like a shroud, draws a lunar landscape. A vibrant monument of death.

  • One of the most exciting works of Land art in existence. The street and the landscape to get you fully immersed in the atmosphere of the place. The only drawback, it should be cleaned up and painted the original part of the cretto
