  • I visited the Cathedral on the occasion of a marriage, and in particular the crypt where the ceremony took place. Really very impressive. To visit.

  • It is one of the most beautiful and majestic cathedrals of Puglia. It has the distinction of entering the sea, built in a large open space, far from the homes of the old town, which not only makes evocative Arabesque architecture, impressive before and emerged from the streets, but the distance further amplifies the magnitude. Gorgeous color and stone takes at sunset and the sea views which can be admired. In Romanesque style, like so many cathedrals of Puglia, stands out for its impressive belfry and entrance on a double lateral staircase; beautiful stone with interior architectural and sculptural decorations especially as in its style of construction, and the crypt with its countless columns and vaults. A jewel to be visited.

  • During a tour of the ' heel ' Trani also visited. Beautiful Cathedral, directly by the sea with a beautiful view.

  • A beautiful town with monuments breathtaking, not only worth a stop for a thorough examination, but staying for a few days you get into an atmosphere of times past. People, hospitable and friendly, not ignores the reception of the place. You eat well everywhere and affordable (especially the fish menu) very surprising as they are low compared to the abundance and the excellent quality of fish, crustaceans and shellfish are always fresh and delicious.
  • Beautiful cathedral and shore! There was even a traditional Italian wedding when I got there and had to hide because of the rain. Really worth the trip!
  • One of the most stunning Cathedrals in Italy. It dates back to the 12th century and has three levels of building inside. It is built in white sandstone and is surrounding by historical buildings and the port of Trani. There is nothing else like it in all of Italy. Worth the visit to Trani just to see the Cattedrale. Gorgeous and breathtaking.
  • A masterpiece of Romanesque architecture, this UNESCO-listed gem should be on top of your must-see places in Apulia. Built with local white limestone, its dazzling white, ornate façade and tall steeple are an incredible reminder of the architectural skills in the Middle Ages. In the lower level there are still frescoes dating to XI century and a crypt. Free entrance.
  • My one opportunity to visit this cathedral on a day trip from Bari and it was randomly closed!!! They could of allocated a special designated area for visitors to see the floor mosaic and alter, at the very least. I even made the effort to arrive in morning before it closes for lunch. Wow, what inflexibility!!! Don't know if I'll ever get the chance to visit here again, very disappointed.
