  • A small museum where you can experience first hand the art of producing the paper and where a master card player shows under your eyes all processing steps yielding a filigree leaf. It's obvious love of the guides of the Museum for this activity now declining among young people to whom they are addressed, particularly making it even more enjoyable and informative visit. The Museum can also be accessed with your pet.

  • Having read more than once of the Toscolano paper mill I finally decided to go and visit him. Shortly after the village of the country following the signs it leaves the main road turning left and taking forever left the dirt road that enters the Valley of the Toscolano, which is the Valley of the paper. The dirt road is not very large, especially short tunnels just before the parking lot, so better go for moderate pace, so if like me you have crossed the tourist train all the time to evaluate the best maneuver. After parking, you walk for a short distance along the Creek to get to paper Museum, housed in one of the many paper mills that operated in this valley. The building was fully recovered and restored and offers plenty of space for temporary exhibitions and stopping to eat or drink something enchanted by nature at the bar area. The Museum is very interesting with numerous explanatory panels written simply and clearly and with tools, machines and objects placed in various environments in order to retrace the cycle produtttivo itself.

  • Beautiful Green Valley and crossed by a stream that fed paper mills. Excellent reporting and information boards. The ruins of old mills are largely well maintained while it is excellent work done to host the Museum of paper (to visit!). The downside is that a landslide disrupted the walkways in the most beautiful of the Gorge (Gorge of Caves, I think) you can't go any further. Put in place as soon as possible!
