Zoomarine, Torvaianica

3.5
Meet an animatronic T. rex up close at Zoomarine. At this amusement park and zoo, whiz down waterslides, splash in pools, and ride the rollercoaster. Shows feature animals such as seals, parrots, and dolphins. On a more serious note, you can see in 4-D the world of a turtle struggling to survive in the polluted ocean. You can buy any forgotten swimming supplies on site. You may not bring in food and drinks, but there are restaurants and food kiosks. • I join the latest negative reviews as I also present at the MeControTe event day of October 20. First of all, I highly recommend that those who read bring their packed lunches. In the regulation of the park there is a prohibition on bringing food and drinks from outside, but then they are not structured to meet the demands of the many users. In order not to risk bringing food from outside and then not being able to consume it, I bought in combination with the entrance tickets also the menus to be consumed within the park. Although I had already paid for them and printed the coupons, I still had to queue x the checkout and then withdraw.... all in 2 ORE!! And then to see that so many people were pulling out sandwiches brought from home without any problems. Another sore note.... MeControTe event! We move from afar, I from Milan, to make only queues and see sti two who make an appearance of just half an hour! I honestly don't think the event justifies the money spent on the entrance ticket (40 euros!). Otherwise, the park does not present itself in the best way.... nothing to do with the northern parks like Leolandia, Gardaland, Mirabilandia.... organized and welcoming, with many picnic areas for families!

  • We came with from Sicily for an event that our little girl had long wanted, the zoomarine is a beautiful aquatic theme park, with appreciable background on the recovery of polluting materials seas and environments(laudable on-site advertising campaigns)... show of dolphins, birds, seals and the inevitable roller coasters!

  • Our experience in the parks includes those from all over Italy, European parks and even outside Europe. Certainly in our very personal ranking it ranks at the last places. Nothing impressed or excited us, perhaps the only positive note the dolphin show Lunch at the self service hall you can heat I prefer not to describe it, for us it was more a stress than a recreational moment. I do not feel or advise against this park, everyone has their own experience , unfortunately we were disappointed!!!!

  • Zoomarine is part (somewhat small) aquarium, part (somewhat small) amusement park and part (actually decent) water park. These three, rather lackluster, parts create a whole that is bigger than the sum of its parts and is enjoyable for a day with the family. It is, quintessentially Italian at that. A few tips: A) Bring your own lunch. It is allowed and the food on the premises is almost English (not to say, American) in its quality. B) People smoke. All The Time and everywhere. Nothing to do about it, just be mentally prepared. C) The park is mostly built for Italians. So nothing is in English and many of the staff doesn't speak English. Don't expect an American experience and you won't be disappointed. This is a nice place to go to give the kids a break from touring antiquities.
  • Not really a zoo. Kind of park. Very creative in ways to take your money- charging 20€ for 3pic of u with the seals after u already paid 30€ for the attraction itself. The activities are pretty lame according ro amusement park. The water area big but for a locker u will have to pay 10€ and no place to put the key in... If your child is under 3y he doesn't have nothing to do in the water area... A lot of shady parking which cost only 5€.
  • Promise more than it can deliver. Looks very good online, but delivers a lot less. Food is not very good, and all kind of service take ages, in good Italian style...
  • Excellent shows. Plenty of splash areas and pools. Lots of seating to rent.
  • Great place, lots of variety. However it is expensive, and if you're not taking food with you its worth buying restaurant access (together with your tickets) the day before, its significantly cheaper. There's plenty of water slides (though not many really big ones - go to a dedicated water slide park if that's essential). There's also fairground rides (inc rollercoaster), and animal shows. The dolphin show is very good, though feels a bit contradictory in the section about plastic pollution when you've just bought a load slushies etc in plastic containers, and get forced through the gift-shop of standard tat on entry and exit to the park. Lockers cost more (10 euros + 10 euro deposit), sunbeds and shades (8 euros).
