  • Typical Tuscan village, really nice, though small! From atop a spectacular view, with all the surrounding villages!

  • To Montefollnico near Montepulciano tourists are probably only by mistake. So there is no in this tiny town almost at all. This tiny miracle has been preserved almost intact over the centuries. All the old buildings are the two main streets, three gates in the walls and two churches. One, the smaller, is so small that it's easy to miss it. Will fit the few faithful and is generally closed but when Fortune Favors can look and see the beautiful detail. The absence of tourists does not obfuscate the old ladies in black stockings that follow slowly through the narrow streets. In front of houses and in the many flowers, Evening with buzz can be heard calling, sounds, guitar. Atmospheric alleys. During the two-week holiday we were fascinated by this place three times, and so keen that we again have returned. Divine Tuscany without tourists is possible. Rapture completes the gourmet restaurant "La botte piena" and the original Studio of ceramics. Head over to Motefollonico but do not talk about it with your friends. Let the streets remain empty for us:)

  • Very cute little village. Surrounded by ancient walls, still there are several towers and gates. Worth a visit, traveling through the Val d Orcia.
