  • The Hill, which houses the Redemptorist monastery is famous for unparalleled views of the Gulf. The Church inside offers no relief work but the magic of the place and the sense of peace invite meditation. For sure one of the best attractions of the city. To consider that access is constrained by hours so check before any visit.

  • You can enjoy a spectacular panorama, visited just before sunset with very beautiful colors. Beautiful church, but I believe there is more to see. Access to the pass is closed by a gate that opens at set times, inform yourself before you get in. Well worth a visit.

  • Get the walking path (starting from Ercolano) is already challenging, even more impegnarivo you get to the top of the Hill and find everything closed (with a rueful sign that explained that the 6 January there was a mass only at 18) and pretend nothing. Oh well, I said to myself, I am left with the view. Which view??? If you exclude the possibility of photographing the snow-covered peak of Mount Vesuvius on the trail, on top of a panoramic Hill I found very little, if not endless stretches of crops covered by nylon Good next (by car though)
