  • Torcello is a great way to get away from the hustle and bustle of central Venice. Incredibly, until the Middle Ages this WAS the main town in the region, but was deserted when the Black Death swept Eu...  more »
  • As magical as the whole island of Torcello, a bit left in the atmosphere, the less touristy than the Murano and Burano canonical but rich in history and art; well worth the view from the top of the Bell Tower to enjoy the beauty of the lagoon! Get info and guide to discover the many curiosities that the island reserve; by Hemingway at Devil's bridge!

  • The bridge is located on the road that from the island reaches the piazzetta. We stopped here for a photo of the rite. The bridge, name aside, inspires some fear for the fact that it is free of any side protection and also because this looks very "thin" and so fragile. Ideal place for a souvenir photo on the island of Torcello.

  • The staff at this restaurant were phenomenally amazing. They made our family feel very welcomed and comfortable. The downside of our 2 separate dining experiences was the locals. We had one gentleman who was so incredibly rude glaring at my son whilst he ate his meal to the point where he refused to eat anymore of his squid ink spaghetti. This was offensive but out of the staffs control.
  • Very impressive service, attractive food which was well cooked and presented, in a lovely garden setting.
  • I got married on May 7, 2016, and I took the receipt to this wonderful restaurant, I couldn't expect any better. Everything wonderful, it was a perfect day, with guys super cute, all members, have been followed by Stefano who helped us with all its sympathy for all the time. Thank you so much to all of you for making our day so special.

  • Yes, it's true we are relatives of the owners, but I run myself, and as a child of "fishmonger" raised in the Gorges of s. Peter and zotoleti, I think I have sufficient experience to define this restaurant top seafood restaurants ever. Here the quality is not an option but a certainty. You can't eat it raw if you don't have the certainty of who you're proposing here is raw shrimp scampi here are a hypothesis for the palate. First and second depend on the season and what offer the fishmongers. What should be in every restaurant worth its name. I last time I took the grilled eel: spectacular! Note: you pay the right. From 50 euro up. Who proposes to fish at 20-30 euros or is a mc Donald or the King of freezers
