  • I would recommend this as it gives fantastic views across the lagoon back towards Venice. To visit take the water bus from F.te Nove to Burano (line 12, March 2017) (40 mins) and then the dedicated wa...  more »
  • Of all the churches I've been in Venice for the time being, this is the one I liked most. Exciting, impressive Romanesque church.

  • The basilica is beautiful especially the mosaic that spans the entire wall opposite the altar. We were lucky because at the time of our visit there was a young guide explaining the scene to a group. We listened to ourselves: that nice guy gave a deeper meaning to our visit. So I recommend you seek guidance!

  • This place is really magic! The cathedral is wonderful and the mosaics are incredible, expeccially the one with the Holy Mary, 5 meter high. All the island is wonderful, quite and relaxing. It worth a visit for sure!
  • A friend with a private boat suggested this place to my sister and I. It was beautiful. Wish I had more time!
  • Great view on top of the belltower. Watch the time when you go up because of the bells!
  • Small, beautiful church, practically hidden. You wouldn't expect to see it in such a small, distance island, but it helps you understand that the old times really prosper Venice was not just the City of Venice, but it also had a lot of population in the nearby islands.
  • The price for this church is not very friendly... 9 euro for the church and Bell tower, including a free audio guide, which just include 6 points inside the church. The mosaic is fantastic. Bell tower is not hard to climb, but it's really tall... You can get a pretty view from the top. You can even see Burano and it's colorful buildings. However, the protection at the top kinda ruin the fun of taking pictures... There is also a museum to visit, which cost extra money. Tickets are cash only, which doesn't make sense...
