  • Despite the small space Trip is always able to organize exhibits that excite. To avoid peak days.

  • Each year, in a small mountain village belonging to the city of Tomezzo (in the province of Udine), is organized an art exhibition featuring extraordinary works visitors, from both cities and museums of Italy as public collections or private foreign. Interested in the description that we had made the village, which has more than a few hundred inhabitants, but which receives an incredible number of visitors during the months of this exhibition (on the occasion of our passage of two hours in a regular day, we counted a dozen at least 50 cars and bus visitors) We decided to see this exhibition. So we went to this part of the mountain to the North of the Friuli to see Expo 2017, whose theme was "beyond. On a trip with researchers, fugitives, pilgrims". About 40 paintings are exposed, from Italian and foreign private collections. I would like here to mention the authors of some of them: Bruegel and Botticelli, Lorenzo Monaco and Matthias Stomer, Pinturicchio and Domenichino. But each work was extraordinary and unique, able to arouse sensations of observation and difficult to express emotions (a copy of the 'Divina Commedia' of Dante, hand-written and illustrated in a remarkable way was also on display, next to a portrait of the poet). As explained us in the visit (remarkable youth readiness guide that have illustrated us various works on display!), in the five sections of the exhibition are the masterpieces that reflect the different experiences of human mobility. Two full hours: it was a really positive experience, to repeat on the occasion of the next exhibitions organizers will be able to offer in the years to come. My only complaint is the lack of a catalogue, which was not available at the time of the visit (but I am told that it will be possible to get it in the next few months, which will allow me to trace the course of the exhibition, where it is not allowed to take photos). Congratulations!
