  • If you find yourself near Tolentino certainly the castle is an interesting place to see. My only note is that perhaps the restructuring has enhanced the antiquity, being a modern style remodeling. Inside there are several exhibitions and also you can spin freely inside.

  • Eight of us from the US arrived to tour the castle on a rainy day only to find out it was closed for the day. The attendant felt so sorry for us that he open the castle just for us. What a wonderful experience this was to tour the medieval tower and dungeon and museum without the normal crowds. the climb up the spiral stairs to the top of the tower was scary but lots of fun. The castle is well preserved and restored. the museum was well laid out and informative. A very positive experience. -keith Marengo from Novato California
